Lina walked in slowly. `er bodice hid the young fawn next to `er. Instinctively `he knew to keep `im safe. They reached a thorny and thick part, perfect for hiding and resting. `he led the way to a small den. Big enough for a doe and two fawns. `he sniffed `round `er, `er dous perked and listening for any type of sound that might signal a predator. With that `he gently nudged the young fawn into the den. `he looked `round once more. `he would not enter until `he was sure it was safe.

Ronno entered the den with some hesitation. He was still not very happy about losing his mom. Then another adopts him strait away? Oh well. He needed someone to care for him so he guessed it was best.

`he said softly. `he continued to watch out the den. `e seemed pretty old and perhaps needed only another year with `er. However if `e didn`t want `er to act like `is mother at all the year would be very tough indeed.

No, its ok

He said with less hesitation. He needed a mother. And a father at that. A mother can raise a fawn but a mother cant raise a buck.

She slowly looked outside the den and looked `round `er for predators. She found none. She sighed softly and studied the enviroment `round `er. The snow was finally starting to melt, Spring was here.
